Together, we build healthier communities.
You can help improve the care and wellness we provide to our communities.
Your generous donation brings care beyond the clinic, making vital, high-quality health care and social services available to everyone in Greater Boston. Since 1970, NeighborHealth has worked to address the far-reaching impacts of inequity and health disparities in the communities we serve. With your support, we will continue to provide high-quality care, no matter our patients’ race, gender, sexual identity, immigration status or ability to pay.
Care that goes beyond the clinic
Our innovative, specialized programs help address the health and well-being of our neighbors where it matters most, in their neighborhood. With our integrated approach to primary and specialty care, NeighborHealth has successfully launched community-focused programs for people with specific needs, including chronic diseases, HIV/AIDS, substance misuse, children with multiple disabilities, and childhood obesity.
Our Community Resource & Wellness Center connects community members with essential resources such as food access, housing support, child care and parenting programs, immigration services, and financial and legal assistance. And our Neighborhood PACE centers help older adults in our community live in their own homes for as long as possible.
We are committed to providing these programs – and more – to those who need them most in our communities. That commitment has not and will not waiver, but we need the help from supporters like you.
As the largest community health center in Massachusetts, we’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. We’re proud to be a 2020 Forbes Best-in-State Employer and a nine-time awardee of The Boston Globe’s Top Places to Work. With your help, we will continue to break new ground in providing high-quality health care to everyone in Greater Boston.

More ways to support your community
NeighborHealth is always looking for individuals committed to helping their neighbors! Volunteer opportunities vary depending on availability and need, but often include:
- Companion visiting: Share some time with an older adult in their home. Chatting, playing cards, or just being there brings much-needed companionship to someone who may be alone or feeling isolated.
- Medical escorting: Medical escorts attend medical appointments with patients who need assistance. Appointments may be at NeighborHealth or at other sites.
- Let’s Get Movin’: Volunteer your time to help fight obesity by working with kids either after-school or during the summer. Have fun while you help implement activities and games that will keep kids active and healthy.
- Mentoring: Many children need a role model to help with school tutoring or just someone to talk to. Share your time and expertise!
We look forward to meeting with you to match your talents and interests with the right volunteer position. For more information, please call Volunteer Services at 617-568-4865.
