EBNHC Names Greg Wilmot Assistant Vice President of Neighborhood PACE

East Boston, MA, July 6, 2017—The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center (EBNHC) has announced the appointment of Gregory Wilmot as Assistant Vice President of Neighborhood PACE. Mr. Wilmot will be responsible for program operations and business development.

Neighborhood PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, one of 121 PACE programs across America, with locations in East Boston and Winthrop. It serves residents in East Boston, Chelsea, Revere, Everett, Winthrop, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham, and Boston’s North End who are age 55 and over and meet the program’s clinical and financial eligibility criteria.

The program provides comprehensive care and support for those who need it, and offers a community alternative to nursing-home care. Services include primary and specialty medical care, hospital/rehabilitation care, social interaction and programming, home care, medical transportation, and nursing-home care if it is required.

Wilmot brings more than 15 years of experience in the health-care field to his role as Assistant Vice President. He worked at Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP) previously, where he was a leader within the organization’s Medicaid and Marketing areas and led NHP’s MassHealth Accountable Care Organization strategy and operations.

Prior to his position with NHP, Wilmot worked at Boston Medical Center, where he led business development, partnering with clinical and administrative leaders at the hospital and across key partners to create new opportunities for growth, expand clinical services, and implement new initiatives that supported the hospital’s patient-satisfaction and quality goals. Wilmot also worked for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, leading various strategic initiatives including the state-wide effort to redesign children, youth, and family services in order to offer residents more holistic and coordinated services.

Wilmot holds a BA in Psychology from Boston College, and an MBA from Northeastern University. Wilmot and his wife Romina reside in Newton with their two children.
