New Opportunity: Join the Wellsense Alliance Patient and Family Advisory Council
NeighborHealth patients enrolled in the East Boston Neighborhood Health Wellsense Alliance (our MassHealth ACO health plan) now have the opportunity to make their voices heard. We’re launching a new Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) and are seeking participants who want to help shape the future of healthcare delivery.
What is the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)?
The PFAC is a group of patients, family members, and caregivers who will provide feedback on MassHealth coverage and share ideas to improve the member experience and access to care.
Who can apply?
Anyone actively enrolled in the East Boston Neighborhood Health Wellsense Alliance —or their family members or caregivers—is eligible. If your primary coverage is listed in MyChart as “EB WELLSENSE ACO”, you’re eligible to participate.
What’s involved?
PFAC members will be expected to:
-
Attend up to two meetings per year, including a kickoff session this fall
-
Share insights about their care experience
-
Help identify ways to improve services
Selected participants will be compensated for their time, and support such as transportation vouchers and interpreter services will be provided.
